Observations of strata and overlying layers in the quadrats associated with riparian vegetation monitoring stations - Sélune Observatory

The study is based on the observation of natural plant communities colonizing newly exposed mudflats, across different temporal scales (intra- and interannual variations) and nested spatial scales. The botanical inventory is conducted using the Braun-Blanquet method.

The sampling protocol is stratified to maximize the diversity recorded. For each study area, a transect perpendicular to the riverbed is established, where strips parallel to the watercourse are marked on the ground according to the degree of exposure.

This layer shows the location of these study areas, the layout of the transects, and information on the vegetation cover observed by stratum within the recorded plots, as well as the type of ground cover and the slope.
